You are not alone!
I agree, there is something truly invigorating about exercising outdoors. Maybe it is the fresh air, sound of the birds or the sight of water but I seem to feel better after exercising outside.
Just because you work in the Sydney CBD, doesn't mean you can't exercise outdoors. If you feel the same way and the thought of exercising in a gym, even one as beautiful as mine, makes you feel claustrophobic then we can probably solve that problem.
And just so that you don't feel as though you are missing out, there is some surprising scientific evidence to support outdoor exercise as the location of choice. It seems that outdoor exercise can improve mental wellbeing, improve strength and cardiovascular fitness.
Now I am not going so far as to say that we should abandon all indoor gyms, in fact, some of my clients like to mix indoor and outdoor training. All I am saying is that if you feel the need to train outdoors, I get it.
I have all the equipment we need, and I know quite a few locations that are good for outdoor so we can make sure that sessions are varied and enjoyable. I am always looking for an excuse to get outside so if outdoor exercise is your thing then get in touch and we can work out a plan that suits you.
